We hope you enjoy episode #17 of our Australian Basketball History series - an in-depth interview with Graham Clarke from the Megabucks Masters Basketball Club Ahead of the 2024 Pan Pacific Masters Games on The Gold Coast, we were keen to profile some of the teams who will be competing

Starting with Megabucks. Graham Clarke is the founder of Megabucks, one of the most iconic, highest performing, most intensively competitive clubs in Masters basketball in Australia. Graham talks about the origins of Megabucks; the original players that formed the club (himself, Nick Adams and Darryl Corcoran); the great players (including Don Bicket, Steve Carfino, Bruce Bolden, Butch Hayes, Mark Ridlen, Dave Simmons, Gordy McLeod); some of the tournaments along the way; and the amazing club culture. He pays credit to Murray Shiles and John Styles who are the driving force behind the Megabucks today. Graham is a player, a coach, a referee, an organiser … and a very funny and passionate bloke.
